IOm trying to upgrade my Xenium ICE OS , when i tried it with cd-r , it just gave me the blinking orange light...Than when i went to the DVD-R it gave me a solid Red LED on the recovery screen and didnt go anywhere...Any suggestions?

Try a different version of the OS. Your download maybe corrupt.
Guessing you dont have a 1.6 since you are seeing the recovery screen. Here is what you can try. You can try FTP'ing it to your E drive. Then run recovery from the option. If that doesn't work, then you will have to use the CD method which is the method that teamxodus recommends.
Make sure you have the HDD version of the OS update for the HD method and make sure you have the .iso version for the CD method.
Burn the OS update.iso file to a DVD-R that you have had success with before. Do it just like you do a bios CD. Doesn't hurt to have a dummy file either. The secquence you should get is, orange light , then it should give you a frag. Green/Red flash.
When done, it will shut down.
Right before it does the green/red frag it will say on your screen GOT FROM CD
Good luck. Hopefully you'll get it. I have had a few machines give me issues. Lately I have been getting lucky and they all update first try.
