Just installed a new 250 gig HDD and its not going well. I made 9 mistakes with the install dvd. I finally figured out that I had the wrong .xbe file on the root. That hurt! Now I cant ftp to my xbox anymore. Im still looking through the forums to find out why. I just wanted to test my signature! _________________ I do everything twice (at least)

4983.06 bios

xbox ver. 1.0 fan mod to 12v
ps2 modded with magic

I just did mine a week ago this worked great. Make sure you have the correct bios or you will only get 137 gigs to show up. _________________ XBOX v1.1:

I can see the drive info and I have 241gigs on drive f. Before I did the change I could ftp to the box, now I cant. I'm in the process of trying my other box to see if I can ftp to it. I need to narrow down where the problem is. If I can ftp to my other box then Im stumped. _________________ I do everything twice (at least)

Well its not the box. Its the connection. I cant ftp to my other one either. The only thing that I have done is change my router a bit. That must be the problem! Either that or my firewall. I basically used that method too ( the link you sent ) _________________ I do everything twice (at least)
