I used verbatim dvd-r for a bit torrent atv power racing. but I know i did the correct thing to burn it only has one file I unrared, with winrar, created iso with xiso, and also did use qwix, burned by instruction to dvd-r on the dvd-r iso/udf (nero6). but when i put in my box it wont work, HAS anyone used verbatim dvd-r?? any succes with it. I have a 2003 xbox, may 1.1,1.2 box. I dod not know what dvd drive i have though. so hopefully someone can let me know if verbatim has worked. _________________ SmartXXv2/4983.06 bios

I have a samsung that reads verbatim DVD-Rs. It sounds like the file you unRARed should have been the iso to burn. I dont think you needed to use xISO. Either way, you may want to try CXboxTool2, I have had better success with that than xISO. If you extract the files then repack them, and it still does not work maybe it is a media problem.

so your saying all i need to do is unRar it? open my folder where i have the Rar archive then just winrar it and try to burn? I think when i used win rar in the first place it still said and had the icon that it was a rar still.
if thats the case when i open the winrar program i hit the extract to icon right? and put it in a folder (the same one) or what? _________________ SmartXXv2/4983.06 bios

Usually when I unRar a game torrent with 30-40 pieces, it will create one large .iso file. That iso file is usually already in xiso format & ready to burn using something like DVDDecrypter or Nero.
Quote "I know i did the correct thing to burn it only has one file" Maybe this is your problem. If you use Nero you goto >Recorder >Burn Image... This will burn the files from the iso to the disc in xfds format. If you just burned a data disc with an iso file on it, call it a coaster.
