I have a router and ftp program, and was just wondering how to ftp a game.iso from my pc to the xbox hd.
Also, i have an updated version of dvd2xbox.zip on my pc and wanted to know how to ftp that as well.
will the xbox extract the iso and zip after ftp-ing, or do i have to extract them first before doing an ftp? if i have to extract first, how do i extract the iso?
thanks in advance.

Hiya
If in Evox then goto system settins/settings and make sure you have an IP in there, if your router is set as dhcp then leave the static IP to "no", but I rather turn dhcp off and have a static IP.
Make sure your PC has an Ip address too, open your ftp software, connect to the xbox IP with username and password both set to "xbox".
Ftp apps into the apps folder on the E drive,
You will need to extract the .iso before ftp'ing it accross, try Xiso to extract.

thanks man...
i dl-ed SUXX which does ftp to xbox and extracts iso's on the fly...im assuming that will work for the isos...
as far as updating the dvd2xbox and adding other things like emulators, will a straight ftp prog, like flashfxp or g6 do the job? is there a specific directory that these have to go in?

yea FlashFtp will work, and applications go in the apps folder on the E: drive. and yes you have to extract or burn an iso to play it.
edit: emulators would go in a Emulator folder not in Apps
