Anyone have experience in which types of Dvdr and DvdRW discs work in a v1.0 xbox?

I think the type of DVD that works is mostly dependant upon which type of DVD-ROM you have. I'm guessing it's a Thompson if it's a 1.0, but I could be wrong.

I use CDRW, and Polaroid seems to work fine for me.

I have had the best success with DVD-R's no matter what drive I am using. Rarely has a DVD-R not worked regardless of the brand.

I have used the cheapest crappiest 4x DVD-R media nad it has worked in my v1.0, v1.4, v1.6, as well as my dvd player and PS2. Lucky? probably so.. but its a brand called Laser...

So look out for them if you have them over where you are. No harm trying..
