Hi im wanting to swap my xecuter 2 modchip for the 2.6. the reason being i installed a 160 gb hdd and it only registers as a 120gb hdd, the reason for this i believe is i need to update my bios but the bios on my chip is not flashable. if i install the 2.6 i need to know will this give me back my lost 40 gigs without having to reformat my drive, if i have to reformat how can i save the games i already loaded on my hdd. I am pretty positive you will have to reformat your drive.
You may just be able to reformat the F partition, but don't hold me to that. The reason is because when the HD was first partitioned the bios on the modchip regulated it's partioning.
