So its been a lot of years since I've touched an xbox and I remember very little about them. But I just dusted one off and the hard drive was dying so I replaced it with an ssd, transferred files over, and everything works fine. Problem is that some games work flawlessly and others start up and then freeze at some point early on. I have no disc drive, these games are all loaded on the ssd. The xbox has a smartxx chip with Cerbios 2.2.1 and a 128GB ssd running on a sata converter. There doesn't seem to be any obvious difference or reason why some games work and others don't, but if the games fail it is before gameplay actually starts, and others just load to a black screen. Some were rips I made myself and others were acquired along the way. When I installed the new ssd I was able to get the disc drive working enough to boot an old AID disc in order to partition and format it, and then used the smartxx os ftp server to build the drive. No other issues with the xbox that I know of. I have cleared the cache and no change.

I'm going to guess and say your running UnleashX, You will find launching games under XBMC will work fine. Cerbios and UnleashX do not play nicely together unfortunately. Swap your main dash to XBMC4GAMERS or just a regular XBMC and your problem will go away, alternatively switch back to your previous bios or m8+ if you are using Insignia. _________________ [IMG]http://oi39.tinypic.com/25ins5y.jpg[/IMG]

I had 2 matches in a roll that in the loading screen the game just froze at 99% (exactly at 99%) for like 2 whole minutes and when it finally unfroze my character was playing as a bot and my teammates just voted to remake the match and I lost like 400 bravery for being inactive and now I have a huge penalty for something that isn't even my fault. Is this happening with anyone else? Btw only the game froze both times, my phone and internet remained unchanged and this never happened before the new patch. https://ppssppgold.one/ https://pikashow.fyi/

m8+ didn't play right with the ssd for some reason, hence the Cerbios. I switched dash to xbmc and things seem to be working correctly. The sata converter is old, I pulled it out of an xbox I put it in probably 13 years ago but never had an issue with it running any bios, the cheap ssd would not work running m8+, so for insignia Cerbios was required.
