Posted: Sat Jul 13, 2019 2:53 am Post subject: Aladdin Modchip not booting past error 16(clock)
Hi, I got a FRAG xbox version 1.0 from the local gameshop to try and fix, turns out the HDD was shot, and would not boot... I installed a SATA HDD with the new 80 IDE cable with the adaptor and all, and installed and Alladdin xt plus2 modchip to a header on the MOBO... When I turn on the xbox everything looks good and I have the evox logo in the upper left corner of the screen during the flubber animation then it goes to error 16 (which cannot find the clock)... I was under the assumption that the modchip bios should override this error, but I am stuck between not knowing if the chip is broken, or if it is not booting 100%, and what is plan B, i dont have another xbox to do any hot passes... Thanks for any help

did you try to boot either aid or hexen or Babylon any of these? _________________ The one the only Scarface!!
