It would be helpful to know what particular softmod or softmods are included in the pack.
What would be useful is a reliable source for a copy of the final SID v5.11/12 and AID v4.53. AID v4.53 in particular, for me, is still the ultimate modding resource/presntation by which other should be judged. Unfortunately finding it now is increasingly difficult.
There are excellent alternatives to SID/AID with, of course, SPPV's updated SID5 Babylon series but also HeXEn (Heimdall's Xbox Engineering disc) and Rocky5's XST (Xbox Softmodding Tool). They're more easily found but there's not one place you can find them all.
An easily obtainable softmod archive pack that included them (with permissions of course) could help make Xbox-HQ.com the go to place for all new Xbox softmodders again.
Especially with the shenanigans that closed down The ISOZone and with it an archive of irreplaceable retro gaming information/content, not just Xbox, there is an opportunity here.

Babylon isnt meant as an alternative to SID but rather a continuation. DJB kinda went MIA after SID 5.11 so I did 5.12 and then implemented fixes and improvements (as I saw fit based on feedback I had gotten over the years here and else where) and did Babylon which was essentially just a twinning of the 3 projects (SID, AID and XBOXHDM Pimped) Thats why when people ask for the newest SID/AID I point them to Babylon.
The biggest problem with SID/AID was the fact DJB is a chipper and was relying on others for info as to whether this worked or didnt, which is why some SID/AID builds have flakey Shadow C unmounts or dont work right in HD on some systems. Dont get me wrong DJB did a friekin amazing job considering he was relying on others to know whether something worked or not.
I know my style may not appeal to all. I automate certain things, and I have my installers play music as opposed to do useless copies to make sure the batch doesnt fail like Rocky5 or Heimdall but thats why we have a volume control lol And honestly Im not sold on the constant copy and rename and delete approach to me it just adds more chances for a typo and failure.

You should have access to all the AID, SID, HEXEN etc downloads here on site and I have all the SID, Babylon, AID, XBMCID, NDURE available on the GREPO http://www.mediafire.com/folder/km5c9do7ti5pu/GREPO just look in the APPS/SOFTMOD folder
