Hi guys,
I recently soft-modded my XBOX with the SID and splinter-cell exploit, backed up the bits that I was supposed to etc.
I read the AID image, included the updates as per manual and burned the disc at 4x (slowest the arita media will burn) and verified.
If i boot my xbox with the tray open, i get eh soft mod menu etc, but if I boot with the AID dvd in the tray, it simply wont boot.
I know that the soft mod worked as I get the evox dash when I boot up.
I'm certain that I have missed something simple, but I was hoping for a iittle advice if I may?

At the time AID did have the updated softmod, emus etc, but that was like 3 years ago. Now for updating you want the Babylon installer. Its current as of May 31 2013. Boot issues with AID are common, its a failing of the UnleashX base it uses. So much needs to get loaded to memory many XBOX just time out.

SPPV cares about us users. He's been good with helping me out too.
You'll be in good hands here at HQ with any issues you have when they arise.
When you burn your copy of Babylon make sure to do it at 8x. The Imgburn program is suggested. I noticed you said burn at 4x. Were by any chance following the advice of this tutorial?
That's what helped me when starting out.
