I've quite a few questions on the back burner that I wanted ask about so here goes one.
I have some xbox games in :G\Games
UnleashX and XBMC only show a few in their respective games menu option. Basically ones I backup with Dvd2xbox.
In XBMC when I go to programs -> games some are listed but I find some icons title something like
0"""""03/4
and so on.
Right now I have to manually go to file manager and select the game's respective "default.xbe" file to get the game to play.
Is there a way for UnleashX and XBMC to update the games list to include all titles present in G\Games?

^^ YES!
if the games are all at the correct paths/locations, go into the games menu item in UNLX (so you see the last lot of games there) and press START once to summon a submenu, just hit REFRESH LIST and you should be golden!
.............
all other lists should be updated by that one action!
.....
alternatively, you could just reset the console for them to be catalogued... _________________ to all my friends... farewell and all the best to future prosperity... and remember, be excellent to each other!

Thanks Amiga,
Made a bit of a booboo.
When I moved some game folders over with filezilla I move the game titles to the root of the G drive, not G\Games.
But yes once all my titles were G\Games, I simply went to the UnleashX games menu option, pressed start to bring up the submenu and hit refresh games.
Then all of them showed up in the games menu option of Unleash X.
When I went to XBMC and went to my programs -> games, XBMC automatically updated the games list too.
Have any idea why XBMC has those weird game titles I mentioned in my previous post by the way?
So doing the update in Unleash X will update XBMC as well by default once you open up XBMC's games list

^^ i think despite everything being placed properly in XBMC, the actual game titles use a different database reference...i'm not sure where it derives it's titles from (metadata perhaps?)
if you look at the m$ dash of gamesaves and compare those names to the games in UNLX, they're the same name! (but info check should show full game id) why XBMC shows those names differently i can't really say but but if it matters, just manually rename the XBMC MENU ENTRIES ONLY!
DON'T rename any xbe's or internal directory contents!
(look at the XBMC readme documents for usage)
as i never use that CRAP fro game loading (but it IS the BEST console media viewer to date) you're just gonna have to.........do stuff in the meantime and like it!
have fun! _________________ to all my friends... farewell and all the best to future prosperity... and remember, be excellent to each other!

Guess I'll need to read XBMC's documentation on that.
Thanks for the suggestions
By the way do you know how I can modify the subject of this thread to include "[Solved]" at the beginning of it's title? When I replied I tried filling in the subject line to include it, but it didn't seem to work.
