Hey, quickie question here! I've tried to track down the answer, but it seems like there's not much development/support going on with pcsxbox any more. I'm trying to get Dark Forces running on the version of PCSXBOX installed via SPPVs EMU installer disc. The compatibility lists, going back to 2007 say it should run perfectly, using the 1.5 core and the DF graphic fix. I've set the graphic fix, copied over various versions of the image, but it always displays a black screen. I don't think it is locking up the emu, as I can still bring up the config menu, make changes, and returrn to the game.
I've tried ISO, and bin/cue. The compatibility list states CCD/SUB/IMG however. Is this important? Because I have no idea how to produce such a thing from the CD. Any thoughts?

Oh ye of little faith Theres much development going on for PS1 on the XBOX. I happen to be a tester for the next edition, and Madmab recently released the REDUX edition which is included in AutoBuilder V5 and the soon to be released Emu Installer. Believe me tons comes back to configuring the emu properly and it can be a C%^T. One of the things we are working on is a comprehensive set of configs for every game we can get to work so it will autoconfigure to the best settings. But its slow work, the games I do I compare to play on my PS1 trying to get it as exact as possible. Heres a sneak peak of the new edition
No set release date yet but its gonna be a huge improvement over v21[/youtube]

Trying clearing your E:\cache and your X:\, Y:\, Z:\ partitions. I doubt it will do anything, but it's worth a shot, especially if you think it's locking up. _________________
