When I try to download a video, it will get the whole thing but it won't play at all on MPlayer (but works on DVDPlayer) and it says "videoname-unfinished". _________________

The YouTube plugin is very buggy. Only success I had with it when testing my pumped build was right after bootup or after clearing cache and x y and z

if you install firefox and search for a youtube downloader in the addons i think you will have more success.. The addon i use is called "Flash Video Download YouTube Downloader".. Install it and then just visit the YouTube page and you will notice a new download dropdown. _________________ HQ Network:

Hmmm. OK. I think, because it works well on mainstream XBMC, that it is an Xbox compatibility problem. _________________

I decided to start digging around in the old forums.
If you want a good youtube video downloader just do this trick with your youtube url
Here's an example video:
It has the url:
Code:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlF8UDedjYc
simply put the prefix 'pwn' in front of the name 'youtube' like so:
Code:
pwnyoutube.com/watch?v=XlF8UDedjYc
(You can leave the 'http://www.' too)
then you'll be directed to a download site that offers plenty of options that do or do not involve risky javascript.
Noticed how the trick involves the abbreviation 'pwn' as in 'pwned'
