Try one wire out. If the eject button does what power should, you know you have gone wrong.

No. If you get the wrong, the chip will live.

Normally the wire would plug into something that would plug into the board on the front where the buttons are. You have a big problem because you only have the chip.

This is why i ask for help cause there must be a way to solder these 2 wires!
Cause itīs only an adapter who is missing - maybe someone who has it, can tell me how these 2 wires are soldered...

I do have it. The Xbox you see in my avatar picture is the one with the X3 in. If I get time tormoorw, I will upload a diagram of the eject/reset wires. I don't know how you will solder wires on to the pins though, so don't ask.

I found a cable which fits to the X3 so the 2 wires are connected to the Chip now.

Thank you!
I hope i will find this diagramm today evening! Wink

EJECT is available on the yellow cable in front for the Poweer/Eject-Button.
I donīt know if i can solder it directly to this yellow cable.
At least i need to know what to do with RESET Cable.

Thank you for your help!

Both reset and eject can be soldered directly. I know this because I have used a circuit tester on the wires.

For your information, the Xbox is turned on by making a connection to ground that the mobo detects and powers up the system.

If you take the front panel off, you will find a point to solder to for the reset wire. However, you can just cut into one of the cables leading from the front panel to the motherboard. Also, if you look near theose cables, you will see a line of contacts and the one up from the bottom is also reset, but it would be quite hard to solder to.

I think it looks great!

Pressing Eject - the DVD Tray comes out an the X3 LED is red.
Pressing Power the X3 LED is blue.
Pressing both it gets - is it purple- in english?

But iīm getting only a blank screen with chip on and in backup.
With Chip disabled it boots to my xbmc.
(Box is softmodded...)
And the X3 LCD is blank also no backlight on.
When i power up XBOX the backlight once flashes then its out.

YUV Cable is connected.
What to do now?

In Germany now its late night.
I must go to bed now.
Good N8 and thanks a lot so far!
