i have an xbox with an evo x chip. Now when i turn it on all i get is a screen where my only options are ms dashboard (which returns me to the same screen), reboot, power off, settings and backup. Im unable to access any games or the main screen. is there anyone out there who knows what caused this and what i can do to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im just spitballing here but that sounds like a corrupted dash. Id try to cold boot AID and use its filemanager to go in and delete the dash files off the C drive and then install a new dash

You just need to burn AID to disc and pop it in the XBOX, turn it off wait a few seconds and turn it on and it should boot to AID, may take a couple of minutes.

If it refuses to cold boot AID then that would pretty much confirm theres more wrong than a corrupted dash, like possible BIOS issues or a dying chip
