I got what looks like an IDE port on my motherboard but I tried a regular IDE belt but it didn't fit anyone here know what it's meant for?

If its a PC MOBO that would most likely be for the 3.5 disc drive. They look the exact same but not as wide less pins. If its an XBOX Mobo the only port that even somewhat resembles IDE is the main power port

If its got floppy it should have IDE same protocol just different sized interface, but both are forms of IDE.
If not you will need an IDE/SATA adapter card or an IDE interface card

It looks to bad I'd buy a PCIe card but $20 bucks for an Ide kinda sucks when I got an older standard IDE pc. Plus Sata/Ide to usb adapter.
