i have a Xbox 1st gen my uncle give it to me, but not been soft mod.

Version: ????????? i dont know
Can any one know how to see my version of the Xbox, because i will soft mod it and upgrade my HDD
I need the version of the Xbox because i will buy a HDD and soft mod in gaming store, because i don't have the accessory and software to soft mod it, the gaming store is accepting soft mod Xbox

The version won't matter at all with a softmod unless you are going to use Chimp to clone the HDD. Just take it in and you should be ok....although you can do the softmod yourself really easily.

The only time the version comes into play is if you're using ancient mods like the old 4920 font exploit or mechinstaller or in the case of nkpatcher dash needs to be 5960 which can be accomplished with throwing in a live enabled game and attempting to connect. If you have access to an ide pc just download sid5 pimped v2 and mod it yourself in 15 minutes

Good info, but I think he was talking about Xbox version as in mobo revision. _________________

If the mobo version is a concern to me that sounds more like a Raincoat Flash Mod than an actual softmod. Ive never heard of it being an issue with UXE/NK but its also possible theyre using some mod they developed and we've never heard of.
Check your XBOX if it says made in china you got a 1.4 or above, made in Hungary you got a 1.0, made in Mexico you got a 1.1 to 1.3. Hope that helps you figure it out. The other method of checking is based on the solder points and RAM chip but Ive never done it myself, Ive always gone by place of manufacture
