i see that most people like the x2.6ce. i was looking at the Xecuter X3 IR USB Mod.

anyone like/dislike the IR/USB?

remove this like if it is not allowed.

main reason for going modchip, trying to get my 1tb-sata drive working and getting dvd issues. i am looking to disable the dvd(wont need it with 1tb).

That and a copy of Auto Installer Deluxe should be all you need man and if the xbox is not a V 1.6 you can use a pin header since the Xapter will only work on the 1.6 box.

So what issues are you having with the disk drive?

hey wes.

i am getting an error 12.

i have no way to set master/slave/cs on either the hd or dvd drive.

the box i am going to mod is a 1.0

so, wait, i only need http://www.divineo.com/magento/xbox/xecuter-26-ce-lite.html and the usb/ir?

what is the pin header?

correction, error 9.

been messing with this for too long.

forgot to plug the power into the dvd drive.

it will boot once, then error 9.

i have to unplug the main power and the power to the dvd, plug the power back into the dvd, boot to a game then reboot, it will start.
