Hi there,

Not sure where to put this, but i have a slight problem with xbmc that i installed from the 1.4 update that just got out.

Whenever i play videos and want to skip/seek trough it, the seek bar never hides itself again, the volume bar does, but for some reason the seek bar never goes away.

Is there any solution to this? as it happens with different skins as well. and i cant find the problem on my own.

Thank you.

Well i have been looking around with my xbox and still havent solved this, i have 38 different skins installed for it, and the problem remains on every skin, i think its somewhere in xmbc itself, some file that is corrupt or its a bug.

I might download xbmc installer 1.3 and see if that version has the same problem.

Hey man dont know if you fixed your prob yet but I thought I would let you know I had the same problem to with both of my xboxs with old software ended up solving this by updating to the newest version of xbmc. I had to manually update mine, by manualy FTP'ing the newer files to overwrite the old ones on my xbox because the t3ch upgrader app in xbmc would never work properly even when it said it did in . I would check this out if your unsure on how to update it http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Installing_XBMC_for_Xbox It has lots of info. Not sure if I can tell you where to find the most recent update in this forum but that site will point you in the right direction.

The new version does not help this, as I have the same problem on just one of my xbox's as well. I don't use t3ch's anymore as for simple bs issues that for most wouldn't matter. I am beginning to think it is the version of xbox, as I have 3 running xbmc only and only one console gives the issue as well. I just got to ignore it sadly enough.

I could try clearing it, dont know if it will fix it.

The weird thing is that i see the same issue on another xbox, which is newer then my own xbox, i think its v1.6, but its been softmodded.

EDIT:

I seem to have fixed it, i went to download the latest stable build on this http://t3ch.yi.se/ copied to xbox and then overwritten the xbmc directory with this new build, or update. Seek bar does hide now!

I recommend other users do the same if they have this issue.

Thanks again.
