Hi guys. I had a softmod xbox for 3 yrs now and it still had the stock hd (Seagate U5) 10gb?
Anyways I was going to do those tutorials for installing a bigger hdd on it but then things started to go horribly wrong.
Firstly, I had UnleashX as the dashboard and because every tutorial I was finding required the EvoX to access the backup key(?) I used my AIDeluxe cd to install the EvoX onto the C partition and do a backup onto the E part. This worked until I rebooted Sad
I later understood my mistake in having the two dashboards might have been in conflict? I then tried to do hotswapping which werent working at all (read once). And the Fatx softwares weren't picking the drive up either...
So I decided to unlock the hdd in the hope i could browse it and delete/format the partitions manually.
No luck. I did find a software after much searching that unlocked it but in the process deleted all the files. The stock hd still doesnt get found when the fatx softwares search.
And now I get the error 07 --> unlocked hd. when before i used to only get 13
I am not sure how i could lock it again if I can even access any dashboards or disks.
Im really pissed off at myself and if someone with a bit of patience would like to help me out (IM would be preferred) I would be IMMENSELY happy.

If you did not get a backup of the eeprom then you will need a chip or eeprom reader.
