I have a 160 gig Seagate hard drive that has nothing on it and never has had anything on it so I want to install it into my Xbox which had the original harddrive on which I had softmodded my Xbox by gamesave exploit with the UnleashX dashboard. But in trying to find the function of "unlocking the harddrive" I did something I shouldnot have and now with the old harddrive I get error message thirteen. What is the best thing I can do with my Xbox towards getting something installed on it so I can FTP into it again? I wonder if there is something I can burn onto a CD-R and have it loaded into the the Xbox by the DVD drive? Any suggestions? Which burning program would I use?
----Jaesonx5----My Xbox is not modchipped, is it absolutely necessary for it to be so to fix the error message of my old hardrive or new one (preferably the new one) and if yes, then what choice do I have now other than modchipping?
P.S.-- I have error message thirteen with both harddrives.
P.P.S.--If a modchip is the only solution, what would be the absolute best choice of a modchip that allows add-ons and options, software and internet support plus solderless installation for a v1.6?

Down load AID and burn it to disk, there is a full guide in the download that will tell you how to do this and it comes with the burning program.
