Well I recently acquired a modded xbox from my friend. I haven't checked the xbox version yet, but, He has used what I am pretty sure is 2.6 Lite to mod it. The thing is all he has it setup to do now is just play game backups off of cd's. That's all it can do atm. Is there anyway I can re-flash it and get a modded dashboard onto the machine so I can FTP? Or am I just doomed to only playing backups for the rest of this machines lifetime.

Get a copy of AID from here using a bittorrent program like uTorrent.
Then burn it to a disk and do a one click mod chip install of a dashboard. _________________

Well I finally got around to burning the disk onto a dvd+r, and success. Thank you so much. Now I only have to get FTP to work. Lol

Well never mind, I have everything working perfectly. Thank you again, I was afraid I was going to be stuck with the MS dash. Lol.
