I am new to game world. I had someone install a chip in my xbox and change hard drive to 250gb. It was working ok for a couple of week. and now when I turn it on it stays in the first screen. and it does not goes any further. any Ideas...
I have change two drives already.

what xbox version, wat the modchip is, n wat dashboard r u using, n is there any error codes on the screen?

DoaX3 for Ver 1.0-1.5, there are not error codes. the version of Auto Install that I used was 4.30.

do u have the eeprom?, if u do u can unlock the hdd using xboxhdm v1.9, n rebuild the hard drive

But when I Installed the hard drive it automatically formatted that HDD and just ask me to restart the Xbox.

ok, um, well i don't have a mod-chip like ur's all my is softmodded, if u put in a game disc does it run the game, n i heard of a way to full off the eeprom using a mod-chip

no it is not doing nothing at this point...there's has to be something wrong with the board.
Can I make this one softmodded?

I just try to do that and it does not want do nothing. If I can boot into AID 4.30, what do you recommend me to do?

Turn off your chip and see if you can get it to boot with the stock bios. _________________
