just installed SIDS 5.? and used AID 4.3 lite with dualboot, and it auto loads into evox when the xbox is powered on. I would like the softmodded xbox to load directly to xbmc upon startup. I tried the shortcut default.xbe but could not get it to work. xbmc is installed in e:\apps\xbmc.
I have given this a go for about an 1 1/2 hours with no luck.
Any help would be appreciated (also if i am in the wrong section, let me know and i will delete and repost).

Did you change the name from default.xbe to evoxdash.xbe and put it in the root of your E drive?

Just use the AID disk to install XBMC as your dash, no need to even think about it just click install.

If you have a soft mod you want to use the option you have like if its an xbox with an F you would use the E+F option and if the HDD is larger and you have a G drive you would select the E+F+G option.
All its for is if you have a F and G drive but select just the E install it will have trouble seeing the F and G drive.
Nothing gets removed, its just for xbmc partition detection.
