Are you using the action replay software?

Yes. It isn't recognizing my memory card. The globe at the top of the Action Replay menu should be green but it's not, it's grey. If I unplug the memory card and plug it back in it''ll flash green a few times then go back to grey. I've tried reinstalling a couple times and using different USB slots and nothing works.

After googling around for a while I finally found a fix. Here's the tutorial I used. A moderator might want to sticky this tutorial somewhere, because i'm sure other people will run into the same problem I did.
Quote:
First, right click on my computer, choose "properties." Then choose "hardware," and then "device manager."
Next, click the + next to USB Serial Bus Controllers, or it might be under USBIO Controlled Devices.
Now, look over the list, then unplug your AR cable. One of the hardware items will disappear from the list. Plug the cable back in, it will reappear. This is the only way to really identify for sure which device you need to look at.
When you know you have the right device, right click on it and choose "properties," then click on the "details" tab. See the long number? It's like:
USB/VID_058F&PID_9380\blah blah blah
Write it down (just the first part, as blue-highlighted above.)
Next, here you have to go to your Programs, Datel, Action Replay, Drivers. Find the file xbreadr.inf, and open it in notepad.
Scroll down a bit until you see the header: "[_Devices]" below it is a list of a bunch of lines like this: %S_DeviceDesc1%...
Make a space at the top of the list, then cut and paste one of the lines there. Then, change the line so that the appropriate numbers match YOUR device's numbers - remember, the ones you wrote down when you looked at the device details tab. Make sure to save and close the xbreadr.inf file.
Scroll down to the answer to the last question. Follow those steps. Windows will copy the files, and your memory card will work again. (I hope!) Mine did.
