hi all i just flashed a ms bios on my x2.6 modchip now its fubar...........it was a mistake i was picking the x2 5??? bios and pad moved it down to ms bios
now i get error boot up now i switched to bank 2 or 1 and its the same
it wont boot of any installer disk either plz help
something like this happened to me 2 yrs back and i had to use ozflash or sommat to re flash cromwell etc but i forget everything
plz can some1 provide a link or help on this
oh yes the error on boot up is number 16 with chip disabled but on chip enable i press power on and it powers on and off 3 times b4 powering on but no video screen and a flashing red and green led

Welcome to the HQ man, check out all the site has to offer and have fun.
Your erroe 16 can be fixed ez if you know someone with a chiped xbox like this: -Get a friend with a modded xbox.
-Unlock his hdd with eeprom management from a slayer evo-x cd.
-Than, place his hdd in your xbox.
-Boot with your chip on.
-Now the xbox DOES find a dashboard when you boot in original mode and you can set the time in the msdashboard clock settings.
-Shut off xbox and remove your friends hdd
-PLace his hdd back in his xbox and lock it again
-Install your hdd
-(clock has been set) So boot up with aid cd.
-Install normally whatever you wanna install
-lock hdd
If you dont know antone with a chiped xbox i need some info like what chip your useing and what bios you put on it?

hi m8 and thx 4 replying i have another xbox tht has a broken cd drive it has chipped by me also with an xecuter 2.6 and has retail unlocked drive in it did what you asked and guess what its BACK........well done thx i appreciate this very much
lesson learned about backups and double checking for me and i was lucky
but i still gonna tinker and learn...
