So I ripped a game to my Xbox and then via FTP moved the folder to my PC and created a ISO with Craxtion4 but when I burn the Game it doesnt work. What am I doing wrong? Are there special settings I need to stick with?

Yes get qwixs to make an iso out of the game file on your hdd, then i use nero to burn the iso as an image file.
Use dvd-R seems to work on most xboxs.

No luck. I did exactly what you said and when I put it in the XBOX it wouldn't even recongize a disc in the drive. I don't get it, I'm using Verbatim DVD-R and normally have no problem burning & playing ISO's. It's only that I'm trying to create an ISO from a folder that I run into this problem. This is what I did:
1. Ripped my game to my xbox with DVD2XBOX
2. FTP'd the game folder from my Xbox to PC
3. Used Qwix to create an ISO from the folder
4. Burned my disc
5. Placed it in Xbox and it didn't work
6. Cussed alot!

What speed are you burning at? maybe try burning at the slowest speed possible. _________________

I can try that, but I burn my games all at the same speed with no problem. I don't get it because I tried using QWIX to extract the ISO directly and I get a "List index out of bounds" error?? Have you ever seen this before???

It may also be the media type. Do you know what kind of dvd drive is in your xbox? If it's a Thompson, then that may be your problem, so if it is a Thompson, then you can do a tweak on the strength of the laser. If you decide to do so, let me know and i can give you a good tutorial on it. _________________ Hotswap Tutorial|FTP Tutorial|HyperX Flashing Tutorial

I am using a Thompson DVD drive in my XBOX and have never had any trouble with it reading copied games. I also have a Samsung DVD drive that was replaced by the Thompson, was new to modding at that time and thought that the DVD drive was the problem, it wasn't. The only drive type that I have not been able to get to read copied games is the Phillips DVD drive. I would also like to see the tutorial for tweaking the laser in the Thompson drive, as I am always looking for something else to do with my XBOX.

I'm not sure what type of drive I have, but I can burn games that are already in ISO format and I use Verbatim DVD-R (which my Xbox only seems to read) and they play fine. My problem happens when I rip my game to my Xbox via DVD2Xbox and then move the files to my PC and create/burn the ISO myself and it won't read it. I think I may be doing something incorrect when I create the ISO file. I used Qwix to create the ISO from a folder on my desktop.
I have tried ripping directly from the Xbox using Qwix via FTP but for some reason I can't connect. I get a list out of bounds error..... I don't know if any of this makes sense?
