Wait a minute...backtrack..HA..
I didn't realize something...
How can you launch an autoinstaller if you don't have the modchip already flashed with a hacked bios??

Sounds like you should upgrade to the new OS or recover the existing OS.
That's what I would do. I don't know any other way to force the Xenium OS screen to appear.
There are two types of recoveries. One removes all of your flashes and restores the chip to the factory state. The other just updates/and/or/recovers it and keeps your current flashes.

You flip the recovery switch on the Xenium Ice chip istelf. Have you ever seen the little switch on the chip? That is what it's for.
Just remember though, after your recovery is done, put the switch back before you reboot!

actually it didn't go so well i have a blue xenuim, i don't have the new xenuim ice it was the one before that, i thought when i flipped the switch that would fix it and i tried another xenuim that was supposedly fragged and would only go to the controller screen and that one didn't show either. Everything else does work fine though
thanks cloy

I would still do a recovery, but with a 1.1 OS...not the 2.0.1
Just follow the instructions for your particular OS recovery. You either had the 1.0 or the 1.1 I would imagine, so upgrading to the 1.1 will be fine.
Also, there may be a way to stop the chip from booting to the dashboards in the event the OS is fine and it's a setting that somehow activated. There may be a way to boot via holding a certain button in for a period of time.
I thought you could hold the white button while the system was booting to avoid autobooting to the dashboards. I am not sure if that was the 1.0 that could do that or not. But, I'll look around. I would suggest checking the official manuals at Xodus.
let me know if you figure it out..

Have you tried to boot the xbox using the eject button ??
If Instant boot is activated you can get to the Xenium screen using the eject button !!
If you haven't tried it do so !!
Let me know how it goes!!
The other thing is you could go to teamXodus.com and post it on the forum asking cap269 to help !!
