Hi !
I'm having problems wit xbit 1.5 and a x-box crystal edition.
Before this I have installed older x.bit (not 1.5) on ordinary (not crystal) x-box with X2-4983
This time I formatted and write the bios without any problems.
Verified the bios with the file.
Installed the chip on the board.
Started the X-box with an boot cd.
But it just started the ordinary microsoft os and not the x2-4983
Have checked the chip installation and it seems ok. It doesn't blink red and green. Just green all the time.
Anyone have an idea, whats wrong ? Or is it the crystal edition ?

Check to make sure your DVD Drive is plugged in the whole way behind the DVD rom drive and at the Mobo...
that could cause the green light to blink continuously.

Well I have checked all the cabels
It can start a normal game without any problem.
But it should start the X2 Bios and not the standard MS.

It might be a defect xbit.
I inserted this xbit on another xbox, still the same error.
And when I try to insert a working xbit (v1.4) on the crystal xbox, it started with X2.
It might be a defect xbit
