ok first question needs to be solved before the othe so #1
1 how can i get my softmodded xbox connected through my PC useing a wireless adatper for my PC to get internet and i want to split the connection so i can get the weather on my xbox
2when i get connected how can i get the weather to work appropreatly through my xbox

I have used XBMC (not a time waster) there a option for the weather all you need to do is set your regain usa / uk
for the other have you try networking it

Its simple..
1. Turn on Internet Connection Sharing on your PC..
2. Goto Start Menu and Choose Run
3. Type 'cmd' and press enter
4. Type 'ipconfig /all' and press enter
you will now be given all your network info.
you want to write down your DNS Servers and edit your XBOX 1 settings to match your PC.
Thats about it.
Same goes for a router.. Just put the DEFAULT GATEWAY to whichever pc/router is sharing..
