I'm planning on upgrading to a larger Hard Disk Drive once I install my Xecuter 3CE. I know that having a Hard Disk Drive that's lockable helps. How do you know if it is or not? Also, what's the best type of Hard Drive Interface? I've seen SATA and EIDE, but does it really matter? Are their certain types the Xbox can't recognize? I'm thinking of buying a Hard Disk Drive along the lines of this one (probably this one if it works and is lockable)-
I would appreciate it if you could help me out. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to keep posting (I don't think anyone's going to respond anyways), but I wanted to tell you guys that I've narrowed my search down to Western Digital Hard Drives with IDE Interfaces. I just dont know what size. About typically how big is an Xbox game and a standard DVD? Thanks. _________________ |Xbox|NTSC|Version 1.1|Hardmodded with Xecuter 3CE Chip and Xapt3r Solderless Kit|Seagate 320 GB Hard Disk Drive|Phillips DVD Drive|Running Xbox Media Center Dashboard with MC360 Skin|

Average size for movies and games is anywhere between 2 to 4 gigs. I've seen people put up to 400gb in their Xbox, but I'm dure you can go bigger than that. _________________

Hmmm. I never new that if you weren't worried about playing on Xbox Live that your Hard Disk Drive doesn't need to be locked. The only reason I would go online is to download new content. Can you just go online and download new content without being caught by Xbox Live. I know it has something to do with the EEPROM like Xbox Live records it and if you want to play with a new Hard Drive you have to lock it with the same EEPROM. How is this accomplished? Thanks. _________________ |Xbox|NTSC|Version 1.1|Hardmodded with Xecuter 3CE Chip and Xapt3r Solderless Kit|Seagate 320 GB Hard Disk Drive|Phillips DVD Drive|Running Xbox Media Center Dashboard with MC360 Skin|

i believe so...download the stuff with softmod removed, or dissables then download your stuff, then reload the exploit. then you will be able to ftp the files to your pc. then when its on your pc, you can transfer it to any modded box.
