i have a xecuter 2.6 ce chip and on bank 1 i had flashbios v303 and bank 2 i had x2.5035 so thought i would try the m8 bios on bank 2 and the 5035 on bank 1 but when i flashe bank 2 with the m8 it also over wrote the flash bios on banlk1 is there anyway to put the 2 bios files on seperat banks

download X2BM (xecutor bios manager v2.3), use this to load whateva bios`s u wanna use, save the modified bios file as bios.bin - burn this file as a data dvd ( use nero ).
then, download `eurasia pro generic flash disk`, burn this as an iso ( use dvd decrypter )
insert the pro flash disk into the xbox & follow the onscreen prompts.

so i can load the 2 bios files into x2bm v2.3
bank 3 and 4 evox.m8plus.16.bin
bank 1 and 2 x2.5035.v16plus.bin
and save it
will the bios size matter 256 or 512
and then boot using
eurasia pro generic flash disk
it will flash both bios files so i can boot from either one then

to be honest, ive never used X2BM to flash a chip - a prefer to flash the TSOP .... imagine i was flashing a v1.1 mobo with a 1024kb TSOP & the bios i was wanting to use was 256kb in size, i would fill banks 1,2,3 & 4 (in X2BM) with the exact same 256kb bios, creating a bios equaling 1024kb.
so i assume u would put your 256kb bios in banks 1 & 2, then the 512kb bios in bank 3 - u will notice this automatically fills bank 4 due to it being bigger than 256kb ...... save the modified bios file as bios.bin
Then use the euraisa flash disk, when the xbox DVD drive opens, put in your modified bios.bin DVD & let the little penguin program work its magic.

EDIT : if this all goes tits up, u can purchase a programmer for your chip, costs about 15 quid. checkout the mod chip stores

m8 bios don,t even worry about it your got the best bios for x2 x2 5035
if you do not have a working bios on the chip you will need the programmer
if your got a working bios use app flashx2 it installed on xbox then you ftp bios to a bios folder in app then run app then do hard drive flash then find bios then pick which bank you wish to flash then flash but x2 5035 is by far a better bios then m8 i have found that it old and out dated

so tried it like this
made bios file with x2bm v2.3
booted using eurasia pro generic flash disk
and now have
bank 1 and 2 evox.m8plus.16.bin
bank 3 and 4 x2.5035.v16plus.bin
so i can use switch to boot from either bios

im happy to hear it was a success for you. The M8 bios has support for the later focus video chip, so its not too old - But the 5035 is the one i prefer, if u download the X2 CONFIG MAKER u can mess about with the flubber animation, the XBOX logo & text, changing the colours & animation to whateva suits your mood _________________
