Starting a new project tonight, making an xbox/pc hybrid. I have a very basic plan right now but, I'm sure it will grow more complex as I go. I have a whole room full of random electronic crap that I'm gonna try to put to use.
Here's the basic idea..
Ignore the cheesy photoshop work.
Off to dig thru my spare room to see what I got to use.

You know most of that wont work with the xbox motherboard? The controller ports are on the side and wont connect to the motherboard...unless you have some other idea around where the contoller USB plugs into. _________________

I actually plan on changing the controller ports to USB ports.
The only issue I forsee is running the IDE cable. I dont think I'm gonna be able reach both the hard drive and the dvd drive unless they can be plugged in in reverse order.
The only other thing thats being added or changed is the AV outputs but I have all the wiring diagrams for those.

I've found a few others on the net that have done this. Mine is still in the planning process. I wanna make sure I have everything I need so I dont get in the middle and have to stop for a week because I need to order a part.
