Hi guys,
Im not sure if you guys know but recently ive been having issues with my XBOX LIVE account on a totally legitmate Xbox 360 with all original games and ive been good too.. lmao
Now i rarely call on my members to help with my own issues but this time ive just had enough of waiting for M$ support to pull their finger out..
Ive vented my frustration in the official xbox.com forums and am looking for other LIVE gamers to leave a reply with their thoughts on the matter.
The reason im so upset is mainly because i need some stress relieve lately due to personal issues and as always everything blows up in my face at once...
If you know me you know exactly what i mean.
Now, please if your going to post on the xbox.com website do it constructively.. Dont go off and waste bandwidth. If you have a point or comment to make then make it, but please dont carry on too much.
I like to promote the best features about all the XBOX consoles and certainly DO NOT support game piracy..

Damn man, I've worked in call centres before for big companies like Acer and Adobe so I know the kind of shit people can give to get you off their back. There are tips to follow in these caes:
1. Never speak to anyone low down, always request a supervisor or manager the moment you feel you're been fed a load of crap.
2. Always state that you intend to put all complaints in writing, plus broadcast on forums etc. If in UK, threaten "Small Claims Court" action, as you are paying for a service and not receiving it.
3. Demand reimbursement for the period you've missed, you're well within your right to do so.
4. Give them what you would consider to be a "resonable timeframe" for them to sort any probs. Stick to your word and act if it goes beyond this point.
5. If someone says they will email you something, make them do it immediately. No matter what they say, they'll have the email system right in front of them.
6. Remember, your Joe Bloggs customer service rep doesn't care what your problem is in the long run, within 2 calls he's forgotten about you so get as many answers as possible, because next time you call, you may have to ask them all over again.
7. Always take a name, empolyee number, date and time. If you have facilities to record a call, it can be handy to do so, especially when speaking to management. Remember, if you do want to record the call, you must state you're doing so for legal reasons.
8. Last of all remember, if you're being charged for something which you are not getting, its fraud. Companies may act tough, but when threatened with costly law suits, they will "remarkably" fix your problem.
All these things are within your right, so make sure you use them.

I cant believe they would be giving you the runaround about your problem. Especially with all the free services out there. You would think with competiton coming from PS3 they would want to resolve your issue ASAP. But I guess that now that they have your money the dont gove a crap about you. I know xbox live is a great service with loads of features but if you arn't getting your moneys worth you should call up and demand your money back. If I were you, I would take Cloud's advice and threaten them with small claims court if they give you anymore BS. A lawsuit will usually get the wheels moving because of all the negative publicity it would bring. I'm also suprised that you havent gotten an response from an admin or modderator. But you know if you started dropping F bombs they'd be on you like bees on honey. _________________

Just a update guys,
Finally a happy face for hobbs...
Some definate answers today.. Funny it took all this time and just one post on the xbox.com forums with some support from my buddies and everything changes..
Anyway, I phoned my main man at support today and finally oh yes finally he has refunded my GOLD LIVE monies in full and has confirmed me that i can now upgrade back to GOLD again immediately.
The account itself has been unlocked and can be used normally he confirmed for me 3 times today... I made him check and triple check.. I wasnt hanging up..
Let me just mention.. If anyone ever tells you they are going to re-activate your account think again, they wont.. The Manager/Supervisor who finally refunded me told me that its never policy for them to ever re-enable a account and he has never seen it done.
He also mentioned they will only normally refund your credit card etc and then you can upgrade again if your account is not LOCKED!
Reason's that your account may be LOCKED:
- Your account may have been reported by other users for abuse etc
- Your credit card address and registered address do not match
- You have been reported by a official xbox live moderator
- Your personal information is constantly changed
OR
- You own a website and it is being investigated.. (thats what i believe)
The reason i say this as it all started when I and our host were approached regarding some HALO 3 images (which we did not take or own) on our site which i removed immediately once contacted.
These are things ive learned over the past few weeks from all sorts of people.. Its funny what they all say.. Its completely different everytime until you find the guy who has the authority to do something..
A big thankyou to all my friends here on HQ for supporting me in my time of need even if it just was a few minutes of your time i appreciate every second of it guys..
so, with all that said. Ill let you all get back to whatever your up to.
