Since I have internal wireless recievers, and no external controller ports, a thought crossed my mind. Can you just cut the gnd(or maybe the power wire) from the receiver/dongle and hook up a toggle? Toggle off=no wireless devices running, toggle on=wireless working.
Been trying to get xdsl going for some time now without any luck. Keep getting a no mbr msg. Don't think it has anything to do with the wireless controllers, but if i get that fixed they'll probley still keep it from booting.

I have a switch fitted to one of my boxes that turns off all the controller ports with 1 button, saves having to unplug everything to get gentoox booted up.
I finally got xdsl to boot with my wireless controllers hooked up. After many, many, many, different installers i got a live cd to work.
The desktop comes up, but i still can't use the controllers though. Which wire(s) did you have to hook up to the switch? Power, gnd, or both? _________________ Xbox 1.0

Ok, i put a jumper wire on the power wire from my #1 controller and booted up. After getting to the desktop i connected the wire and it still wouldn't work. I found out that i turn the #2 controller on it works whether i boot up with the #1 disconnect or not, i just cant get my #1 to work with it.
Any idea's? _________________ Xbox 1.0
