i tried softmoddinganother one of my xbox today. so far i have done 4 and the 4 of them came out good. well with this one i have everything done and ready to go. all i had to do was insert the AID in the tray. well i did and it booted up. well about 30 seconds later the dist froze on me. so i rebooted the xbox and an error came up. it was still able to read a game disk so i went into linux again and now when i try to install the UDE it gives me this message. " correct update.xbe has not been found either install dash 4920,5659 or 5960 or add the update.xbe to the package. cannot install ude. so how can i get rite of this problem and how can i install the dashes.

reinstall MS Dash, wich can be foiund in a post by the user pirrup, just go to that menu and FTP and delete C and copy the new C to it, but make sure you do NOT reset the xbox or power down b4 u have done so! _________________ Hotswap Tutorial|FTP Tutorial|HyperX Flashing Tutorial

i found it and clicked on it but a white page came up and said the page you've requested is not available on this server. i also tried to go on the vip servers but it does not let me. it let me go in once but only once a long time ago. now when i try it does not let me. i try all 3 server and it telle me that i cannot connect.

You maybe able to download it from another place...Xbins, torrent, AID3 disc. Heck just use your modded xbox and ftp to it and pull the dash files from your setup or your backup files (which if doing any modding backing up the ms dash and eeprom is key. ok so i ftp into one of my other xboxs and copy the C folder. then i go to the other xbox and eraise everything in the C folder. I transfer the C folder into the xbox that does not have one. or do i just get something specific from it and eraise a a specific thing from the other one. which one would it be.
