I have a backup that plays on one of my soft modded xboxs but won't play on another they both have aid 3.1 installed with xbmc as the dashboard the xbox that worked has a philips dvd drive the one that wouldn't has a thompson drive but i also have a backup samsung that I hooked up and tried as well. I backed up the copy with dvd-r and a dvd+r that didn't help. (both copies worked in the philips drive. I then installed the backup to my hard drive with dvd2xbox. This told me the thompson drive recognized the game. When I tried to play it off the hard drive the game did the same thing it did running it from the dvd drive the screen goes black and then resets to the dashboard. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem would be gratefully accepted P.S. I went and deleted my cache as well. Thanks in advance!

Empty the e:cache folder and try it again.
