Ok, cal me crazy, but i cant get my mac laptop to connect to my xbox (running smartxx v.3, and mac osx 10.4). I have an ethernet cable connected directly into my computer. I know one of the problems is i dont know how to get my ip, mak, and gate, or if i need them )i doupt i need my mask and gate). I would really apppreciate some help on getting my xbox ftp running properly and my mac connected.

u can't plug in directly if i'm not wrong. u need a second network card and crossover cable to do it. (read it somewhere)
if you have a router. set a static ip on xbox and ftp from ur mac to ur xbox. try yummpFTP. it works for me.
