hi there is there any way to open an xbox without a torx screwdriver..need to get it open...??
im not too bothered if i scrape any bits of the xbox...

All xbox models are opened the same way , so it will work for sure on your Xbox and your mates. hehe
Stuff you Will Need:
You will need 2 Torx screw drivers to do the job Professionally:
A Torx 10 (shown below):
and
A Torx 20 (show below):
Note:
Dont worry if you dont have these screwdrivers as i have opened many xbox's without them and did not cause any damage.. Just be careful.

Yes, use an Allen wrench. You won't strip the screws with an allen wrench. It fits just as tight as a Torx bit.

i might as well add what i need it open for too...my dvd drive making a grinding noise when it tries to play discs.. iread somewhere that it may be misaligned or something!!! im a total newbie with this...just wnna fix it!!

once i get it open i should hopefully be able to see wots wrong with it...
just getting the darn thing open..lol....
all shops are closed at this time..
xbox will be in lots of bits by shop open time probably!!
a whole new meaning to xbox hack i think!!

ps. why does it say modded xchip next to my user name?? my xbox isnt modded...?
