I tried to backup my copy of MK:A yesterday but when I run it I get a scrambled video image. When I run the original DVD it runs fine.

I put it to HDD using dvd2xbox and that was the first I saw the scrambled video. Next I tried copying the disc directly from the tray using Craxtion and burning the ISO to disc. Same scrambled video. Lastly I pulled the files from xbox to ISO on PC using Qwix and put it on another DVD using imgburner but I got the same results.

Has anybody had this issue? Or has somebody successfully backed up their copy of this game? If so, any tips on how to successfully do this would be greatly appreciated.

Well I tried various combinations of software and made about 15 coasters but could not get it to work.

Here is the software I used:
dvd2xbox
craxtion
qwix
imgburner
nero
mooGUI

All but Nero was the latest software but the Nero I have is still pretty new.

I also tried transferring files from xbox to PC to create ISO, accessing files on xbox to create ISO to PC over network and creating ISO from original dvd in its tray. I looked into the dvd2xbox options to see if there may be something there to allow me to back it up to my HDD at least but I couldn't find anything. Somebody at another site claimed to have successfully backed his original up using the latest dvd2xbox/qwix/imgburner combo but I haven't been able to.

I'll keep trying but if anybody figures this out please share how you did it Very Happy
