Posted: Wed Aug 16, 2006 3:57 pm Post subject: Anyone know how to use the cheat codes on FCE or XSNES9X?
I was playing around with the cheat code browser in FCE and XSNES. I've been using the emulators for a while but haven't really tried any of the cheat codes. I used to have the some Nester DC EMU disks for Dreamcast for nes. I remember having a bunch of Game Genie files in a folder with my roms. You were able to browse through the codes and apply them to the game at any time. I was hoping the same thing could be done with FCE for xbox. I learned it was not the case. However, I did figure out that you can enter the game genie codes manually into the emulator.
Is there an easier way to do this? I have hundreds of game genie codes and I don't want to type them all in. What does the code search do?

Well FCE I am not sure but there is a far better emu for NES that allows you to use cheat....then you just ftp the cheats to the cheat folder in the emu and then right click the R stick and choose to allow chaets and it will then let you pick which ones you want to use _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

Both you can do alot more with like screen shot movies that you can put in your dash (unleash and XBMC) you can do that too with FBAXXX which is sweet.
