Ok i have an xbox with no HD so i brought a blank xbox HD from the local shop..I know i need to set it up and lock the drive so i plan to do this with a modchip. Which mod chip is the best to use and will i still need to have a eeprom on the drive? if so were can i get one from eeprom from or how do u make one?

Xodus makes a nice solderless xenium kit. Which verison xbox did you get? Also, if you are not planning on going on xbox live, you can always upgrade to a much bigger harddrive. _________________ XBOX- V1.0

I recommend the Xenium. Like kdx80boy said, it's solderless and easy. They are hard to find though, but if you can get one go for it. _________________

Mine is a 1.6 so if i go 4 a bigger drive how do i create the eeprom?
