I was softmodding my friends xbox with the original Splinter Cell using action replay and Nknave's Softmod Installer 4.0. I transfered the files onto the memory card and saved them to the xbox's hard drive. When I loaded the Splinter Cell game save, the screen turned black and the eject LED turned Orange. I was wondering if the problem was because of the Softmod file or the linux profile?

You probably got the PAL version. It happens. Just recheck that ur using NTSC and reload, should work then. _________________ Moddingbandit

I'm pretty sure the dashboard is up to date since my friend goes on xbox live alot. I got the SID 4.0 files from here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RWXD35QL I tried getting them from the official SID forum but the when I tried the link it said it the torrent was removed..

I put the softmoded splinter cell files on my modded xbox just to see if the installer would run. When I loaded the profile, I got an error 21. I was wondering if there are any other good softmod installers that allow you to have dual boot for xbox live play?
