I've just installed a Xecuter 3 CE in my xbox, but all I am getting is that the machine switches on and off a couple of times, then the eject button flashes green and red.

ok you need to check your d0 point make sure it is connected correctly, also make sur eyou did not get solder splashes anywhere on the motherboard, if so clean them up, also check to see if your accidently damaged a trace _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

I disconnected the mod and it is still doing it

You most likely have a bridged connection somewhere or you have broken a trace. Go through with some desoldering ribbon and clean up the area where you installed the pin header, and soldered the D0. _________________ XCM Halo 2 blue case

Still not working, all I get is xbox turns on and off x2, no video, and red and green flashing light.

Make sure the chip is on the pin header correctly. (Happened to me once, i was freaking out b/c it fraged, and it turns out i didint put it on right.) _________________ Xbox v1.6b

I had the same problem when I had a DuoX chip installed, worked for about 30 seconds before the xbox crashed with similar symtoms. We did the same thing, removed the chip, removed the LP rebuild board, desoldered the entire thing so the MB was back in its original state, still the xbox would not boot.
We believe it was a loose connection in the power supply bumped when removing the MB. We poked around the power supply, checking connections and also, when running, checking that the stated voltage was comming out. It all seemd ok, so we left it for while and when came back to try some other things, the xbox came good. We think the poking must have fixed a loose connection, as it was the only thing we did between the thing not working and it comming good!
