I was wondering how do you find your xbox IP adress. I set mine to automatic. When I got my xbox softmodded, I couldn't connect it to my ftp to my xbox. I believe it has something to do with my ip address.

Here's what it said on the ftp
[14:24:29] SmartFTP v2.0.996.4
[14:24:29] Resolving host name "192.168.0.2"
[14:24:29] Connecting to 192.168.0.2 Port: 21
[14:24:29] Connected to 192.168.0.2.
[14:24:50] An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
[14:24:50] Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)...
[14:24:50] Server closed connection

P.S.I think I found the IP adress, it was 192.168.0.2, but isnt an IP adress suppse to have three digits in the end?

I think my IP address for my comp is 192.168.1.102 Sry i was a little busy heh

Ok, I'll give that a try. So an xbox needs to me (soft) modded before connectiing to ftp? Or can you do it just without modding it.
