How-d,
I need some advice on networking two xboxes for internet (xbconnect) and also system link to play against each other without the internet. One room has speedstream dsl router, linksys router, computer, and one modded xbox(all networked). There is a ethernet cable that runs from one room to the other. In the un-networked room there is a computer and the other xbox. I am pretty sure that if i connect the ethernet cable to the computer and then the xbox to the computer they both can play xbconnect off their seperate computers. Will this configuration work for system link without xbconnect. If not will a router in the un-networked room solve this. Hope this didn't come out as being confusing. Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

This is how i would attempt your setup.
1. Install XbConnect onto your main pc which conects to the internet
2. Configure your xbox which is connected to the main pc/hub to work like normal with XBCONNECT.
3. Once you have gottne the first xbox working attach another network cable to the hub/router you have and attach it to the other xbox
I WOULD SAY YOU ONLY NEED ONE XBCONNECT CLIENT RUNNING
4. Now test the 2nd xbox can connect to XBCONNECT.
thats it..
It cant be too hard.. I have run 3 x xboxes on the same network before online using XLINK kai but not sure about xbconnect. I cant see why it wont work.
