Ive installed my Xenium Gold without a hitch. solderless in my 1.6, but now, when I try turning my xbox on, it flashes red/green/red/green pretty fast, then turns off... then on... then off. I looked at my chip, and only 1 LED was lit up. But when I remove the chip, all 5 LEDs are lit up on the solderless adapter. i put the chip back in, and only 1 is lit up. I have no idea why this is happening. I'm a noob to modding, so I'm starting my troubleshooting here. Could I have a bad chip? Its worked for the past week, and this had happened a few times, but I didnt have my xbox open. Now that its open I can see the LEDs, and I cant get it to work

the d0 connection seems to be fine. If the LED lights up without the chip in it right? Its when i put the chip in, is when 4/5 LEDs are off.

It seems to be a damaged chip. I would send it back and get a new one. _________________ Moddingbandit

Hey Stoney,
If you are getting 3 -reboot frag it can't be the d0. Either the OS has gone bad, the wires on the S.P. have come loose, or one of the pins on the LPC has lost contact, usually it is the LPC. Pay close attention to pins 7,8,10,11. If they do RMA retunr the whole kit, if it is a problem with the adapter you don't want a new chip and the old adapter and visa versa. _________________ 1.6b, Xenium !ce OS 2.3.0, External 160g WD, External 250g Seagate, Double blade UFO Fan over Jewel
