I downlaoded Version 1.3 ISO of this Linux OS but XBOX won't even read disc. I read somewhere that you need Cromwell Bios to recognise it. Has anybody suggestions on what I should do? I'm running X2 bios presently and don't really want to change it.

Hi,
are you sure its not just a media issue..? Have you burned your own disks for your xbox before.. You may need to burn it to a different brand of media..
Ive run xbox linux (very first version) on my xbox before and i didnt have the cromwell bios mate.
I've used both DVD-r and CD-r in my Samsung drive and it seems to read anything I throw at it so I don't think its a media issue. Cheers.

I downloaded 1.4 of Dyno - murned it to cd and it does not boot. I have since then opted to burn it to dvd, but i need to know if i need to mod the iso to be burned on dvd for an xbox to read.
I have taken program like cration and quick and said mod iso for xbox, creation does nto say good iso and quick mods but the file size is 576k vs the real size of file.
I have takedn the iso and burned to cd and booted a pc no problem so i know the iso is good. I have been diggin about to see if i need to mod the sio but have not found any site taht confirm this.
do i need to mod the iso? and if so what rogram should i use?
