I hope someone can help..
I am trying to transfer savegames from my usb memory stick to my xbox hd so that i can soft mod it with linux, using the splinter cell xploit.
I cant see how i can do this.. as there is no menu function in my xbox that allows me to transfer savegame data from the memory stick to the xbox hd.
I have followed everthing but I cant transfer the savegames to the xbox hd.. please can someone help..
I rather ask someone from this forum - than to join another..

assuming that you correctly transfered the game save, just stick the thumb drive into the xbox *again, assuming you have the usb adaptor* and then click on the memory tab, then instead of click on the xbox, on the side the thumb drive should appear..
just click on that and click on the game save that you want, and then click transfer and it will copy it to the hard drive. _________________ XCM Halo 2 blue case

thanks da-goat.. ive managed to get the saves onto the xbox hd, but now when i load the splinter cell and then the savegame, it freezes and nothing seems to happen ,
i chose "linux" and selected "checkpoints"
what should happen is that it freezes for 10 seconds and that should of been it
what have i not done?.. ive read so much and i'm still stuck...

which softmod are you using?
and did you copy the right files, i mean for PAL or NTSC.
There should be two files on your HD now

Yes, be sure you are using the correct video format. Also, you may what to delete any other SC gamesave you may have on the hdd. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS
