Is this the same chip your buddy got that won't boot in the xbox because you might have flashed it wrong? If not, please be more specific with that you mean by "software". Do you need another bios? You have the communicator, save yourself the trouble. If you need actual XBox homebrew software (XBMC, Avalaunch, LinksBox, XDSL, etc...) just go to http://www.aideluxe.com and download and burn that to a CD-R, or DVD-R and pop it into your modded box. You'll get all kinds of pretty menus that will let you install all the latest software.

ya, its the same chip... but now the x-controller wont communicate wit the chip now?? how do i get different software on there??? im really confused...srry.
